Digital Birds, Metaverse & Learning Conversation, 9 Stops Mapped Ahead, QR Biz Cards
Meet one of the 12 Digital Birds in the lobby of the Kimpton Born Hotel in Denver. Each one was in a mini tablet - with a digital bird perched, chirping and sometimes flying. Smile inducing:
Metaverse Learning Conversation: I had a Learning Innovation conversation with Ken Dyer, a “metaverse’ expert with Accenture in Denver. We explored current and future ways in which Augmented Reality, Metaverse, VR and AI will be leveraged for onboarding and employee engagement:
Conversations like these are filled with learning exchanges and connections. We explored so many topics in a spontaneous back and forth about learning, generational expectations, ethics and even ComicCon experiences. No agenda - just learning in the moment. Thanks to Ken for driving 40 minutes into downtown Denver. BTW, Masie Innovations will be exploring the immediate and future implications of these technologies in the months ahead.
1,800 Miles Ahead - Route & 9 Stops Planned: We just mapped the route from today to home in Saratoga Springs. It will take about 10 more days and will take us to great cities and regions along the way. Projection is a total of 7,700 miles for the trip:
Our planned route, which may adjust as we go, includes stops in these cities:
Omaha, Nebraska
Kansas City, Missouri
St. Louis, Missouri
Indianapolis, Indiana
Cincinatti, Ohio
Columbus, Ohio
Cleveland, Ohio - Rock & Roll Hall of Fame :)
Buffalo, NY
Saratoga Springs, NY
If you are along the way, send an email to emasie@masie.com We can either connect by phone or have an ice tea along the way.
Digital QR Business Cards: One small technology transformation that I have done is to migrate from paper business cards to a personalized plastic card that new colleagues and friends can scan with their mobile phone to get my info. Feel free to try it out.
Eating Locally on Way to Omaha: While the interstate highways have many fast service national restaurants off the exits, it is great to use YELP to discover a local eating stop. We had a great breakfast at the J&L Cafe in Sterling, Colorado. A family run sit-down restaurant with locals enjoying Saturday morning conversations:
On to Omaha…
